plus approx. £2,500 pa for sleep ins (£30.00 per night)and; opportunities to increase your earnings with relief cover.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to work full-time and part-time between our two community based supported accommodation schemes in Carmarthen, each providing support for adults with mental health illness and associated health needs.  

We are looking for mental health support workers who share our values and can support our residents to have happy, fulfilled lives.

You’ll be providing support for:
·         day-to-day living
·         social activities
·         sports and hobbies
·         employment
·         holidays etc.

Along with support with general household duties such as:
·         cooking,
·         cleaning
·         money management. 

There may be times when you may be required to undertake personal care.  

Our services operate 24/7, so you will work in allocated shifts i.e. early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will also be required to undertake sleep-in shifts on a rota basis.  
Qualification:A QCF Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) Wales and Northern Ireland or equivalent.  
Experience:Experience of working with care and support plans and risk assessments. Developing and updating plans to reflect changing needs and risk.Some experience in care work would be an added bonus.
