Who are you?

We are a panel of residents who meet monthly at the Associations office to scrutinise and help improve the services provided by the Association.

What do you do?

We help monitor the Associations performance and services. We also help identify areas and services that need further investigation and challenge where agreed standards are not being achieved and provide recommendations to improve the services.

How many areas have you scrutinised?

At present we have scrutinised 11 service areas which include:

  • Communication
  • Empty Homes
  • Complaints
  • Handyperson services
  • Grounds Maintenance
  • Rent Arrears Management

I’ve never been a part of a Scrutiny Panel before, how can I join?

You don’t need any previous experience to be part of the resident’s scrutiny panel as training will be provided.

During your time on the panel you will gain knowledge and experience whilst working alongside an independent consultant ,who will chair the meeting.

I haven’t got a car, how will I get to the office?

If you contact the Customer Services team prior to the meeting, they will be able to arrange transport to and from the office. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
